I founded this blog 7 years ago because I wanted to share my opinions on style and design with anyone who would listen. In those 7 years it’s grown from a small personal blog into a reliable (and hopefully relatable) source of daily style and design inspiration, run by a small team of like-minded people who share my passion for design, style, and human connection. We are all storytellers with a diverse variety of backgrounds, problems, insecurities, expertise, budgets, and styles. We write the articles about design, style, and life that we would want to read. And we create the content that we wish was out in the world.

Sometimes we write about window treatments or rugs, other times we write about swimsuits, soup, or my husbands therapy. We tackle projects big and small, from year long home renovations to one room design projects. We document projects from beginning to end here on the site, as well as on social media, and we’ll tell you almost anything. We share our mistakes and regrets, and help others learn how to avoid them. We also work with brands and partners that we love to create custom content for just about any platform. We function as a boutique ad agency, and do everything from conceptualizing a campaign to the production and publication. We are selective about who we work with, and ensure that we create the highest quality content we possibly can in this digital wild west.

We want this corner of the internet to feel safe and non-judgemental. We want to be a resource, not a textbook. We want our site to be filled with approachable ideas, good conversations, and entertaining articles supported by well styled, and well shot photos that empower you to make your own home reflect YOU.
